Perfectly placed on it's own private acre of land with lots of lawn space, mature trees and waterfront it's setting is truly exceptional. Relax with your morning coffee as the quaint waterfall cascades down the rocky hill alongside you, rushing into beautiful Lac Maskinonge directly in front of the cottage. Sit on the rocks in the falls and you can get a massage while the water rushes over your shoulders! In summer, swim in the clean warm water, canoe or kayak on the lake, fish from the property's edge or the charming country bridge a few steps away... or just sit and enjoy the setting sun over the lake from a rocking chair on the wrap-around porch that offers a view of the entire property. In winter, enjoy sliding down the large hill at the side of the house, skate on the lake, go for a hike on one of the many unexplored trails close by to spot deer, or enjoy a day of skiing. |

Tadoussac is about 200 km (130 miles) down the St. Lawrence River from Quebec City, located just at the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord. The best way to get here from Quebec City is by car along route 138 east, a lovely two and a half hour trip. However, you may want to take it slower to appreciate the scenery and stop off at a few places to admire the view. If the weather is good, try taking the scenic shore route 362 at Baie St. Paul. |
